Hand-formed・Aged duan ni (fortified clay)・160ml
This teapot was made using an aged "duan ni" or fortified clay from Huang Long Shan. Its precise lines resemble a traditional wooden barrel, with a bar-shaped lid finial that echoes the straight lines of the spout.
Artist chop is stamped on the bottom, underside of the lid, and the handle. Single outlet for tea drainage. Limited series of five pieces.
Usage and care: Thoroughly rinse particles of sand from the interior before use. Dedicate one tea type per pot. Eventually, a tea pot will be seasoned with the particular character of a tea. Hand-wash only without soap or detergent.
Dimensions: 66mm tall, 70mm body・Tea Pot Name: 巨轮珠・Artist: 饒青
