The Song Collection is an introduction to every tea in our core lineup, featuring 30 single-brew packets of loose-leaf tea, in one box.

This year's Song Collection comes wrapped in shades of celadon, a color inextricably linked to the most iconic glaze in Asian ceramic traditions, its grey green, creamy mint, and blue hues peaking during the Song Dynasty. Unadorned pots glazed in celadon were often subjects of great contemplation, the color providing a backdrop with depth and clarity that cleared the mind.

Like our Song Dynasty namesake, the teas of the Song Collection are chosen to reflect the simplicity of the celadon tradition, while paying homage to the innovation, art, and celebration of beauty that defined this storied epoch. Individually packaged in single portioned brews, each tea represents the breadth and depth of our sourcing efforts, an ongoing search for teas that are bright and sweet, brewing with a clarity of flavor and finish that pique our palates.

The four embossed characters on the wrap: 宋代茶選. 'Song Style Tea Selection' is our formal title, chosen in direct reference to that inspirational dynastic period.
