Glazed porcelain・Hand-thrown

Crafted with a simple, classic elegance, Lin Ming Ci’s teapot plays with light and shadow against the bone-white porcelain of this little pot. Classic proportions further ground these qualities, from the circular curve of the handle, through the gently piping spout, and dimpled finial.

The exterior is covered in a shiny, translucent glaze, and inside the form you’ll find a series of small holes that serve as a natural filter while pouring. The absence of color serves to highlight the expressions of steeping leaves, from the bright amber of Wild Tree Yunnan Red to the electric green of Lishan Winter Sprout, tea becomes the star.
