Hand-formed・Wood-fired unglazed stoneware・165ml
Hand-formed wood-fired pot. Tone of waxed raw iron and steel, accented with a layer of vitrified fly ash that resembles hare’s fur on the lid, upper body, and handle.
This is a smaller scale pot with a tall profile. Wonderfully cute proportions, with a beautifully shaped spout and throat. Ten outlets arranged in an elongated hexagonal pattern for drainage.
Unglazed stoneware, using a blend of Taiwanese and Japanese clay, then fired in a wood-burning kiln for five days. This pot was pre-seasoned by the artist.
Usage and care: Hand-wash with water only.
Approximate dimensions: 85mm tall, 66mm diameter
