Huang Li Chia’s studio is located in Tainan, in a quaint building that she shares with her partner’s wood-working studio. Her work, in both stoneware and porcelain, carefully balances functionality, expression, and beauty. Each piece harmonizes the rusticity of natural material and the asymmetry of free-formed clay to create simple, authentic, and beautiful forms.
