Hand-formed・Qingshui ni (clearwater clay)・300ml

The gentle curves of this tea pot was completely slab-built by hand using a Huang Long Shan red clay called "qing shui ni", or clearwater clay. Its chinese name loosely translates to mean "enhancement of fragrance" - an apt name for shape that channels a tea's aromatics upwards. Perfect for a wide range of teas.

Artist chop is stamped on the bottom, underside of the lid, the interior wall and handle. Seven outlets arranged in a hexagonal pattern allows for quick drainage. Series of six pieces by ceramicist Zhao Yun.

Usage and care: Thoroughly rinse particles of sand from the interior before use. Dedicate one tea type per pot. Eventually, a tea pot will be seasoned with the particular character of a tea. Hand-wash only without soap or detergent.

Dimensions: 67mm tall, 89mm length・Tea Pot Name: 香潤壶・Artist: 趙雲
