Collection: Lane Chapman

Lane Chapman was raised in rural Arkansas surrounded by the songs of cicadas, the sweet sting of mosquito bites, and moss-laden oak trees. These environments have proved a formative role in her work, which pairs thrown and hand-altered pottery with delicate illustrations of the natural world. She is a chronicler of small things; the underside of leaves, paw prints traced into damp earth, the soft pitter-patter of rain or rabbit feet. She now resides in Montana.
