Collection: Made for Matcha
This small collection of Liao Guo Hua's wood-fired bowls are made for matcha. Their wide-bottomed, cylindrical shape complement the patterns of a Kankyû-an tea whisk. Rippled kuchizukuri rims form peaks and valleys, creating resting places for a tea whisk to settle. Shallow chadamari rings catch the last sediment of powdered tea, marking a moment of appreciation in the wabi-cha tradition.
