Each cup is thrown by hand on the potter’s wheel by Taiwanese master potter, Zhang Yun Chen. Weighted at the bottom, but tapering off near the lip. With iconic celadon glaze over a light stoneware clay, these cups feature a slightly taller wall than the early iterations of the Song cup, offering an elegant profile and a more generous pour. With prolonged use, tea will begin to ‘season’ these cups, highlighting the gossamer threads of crazing inherent to this glaze.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eSong Studio cups are sold in pairs and are presented in a kraft gift box.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003ePictured is one in a series of cups.
